When you combine a sweet tooth, love of popcorn, and a COVID-19 quarantine, you get Big Ear Gourmet Popcorn! Jared, the popcorn mad scientist, has been in the restaurant industry for several years, having helped open numerous bars and restaurants. During his quarantine, he started experimenting with flavors, setting out to make a truly gourmet popcorn assortment of flavors. To date, more than 30 flavors have been R&D with brave friends and family. Jared's wife and dogs have been some of the best taste testers (and hardest critics).
Sorry, but we will not produce savory flavors, not because we do not like them, but due to the lack of ability to properly preserve them and keep them from going stale. Our products have a shelf life of approximately 2-3 weeks and are designed to hold their freshness during the shipping process.
All of our products are produced in a facility with soy, egg, gluten, nut, and dairy. We can guarantee that they are shellfish free as Jared is deathly allergic to those creepy critters. Some flavors are made gluten free or dairy free, but contain a risk of cross contamination being made in the same facility as the gluten flavors.
